Disney Infinity 2.0 Walmart Leak Confirms Stitch, Donald Duck, Big Hero Six Figures and More

The Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes character list continues to grow as a new Walmart.com leak potentially fills in the roster for the remainder of the year.

Let’s recap the officially announced figures before getting into the leaked ones. The Avengers> Play Set comes with the Disney Infinity 2.0 Starter Pack along with figures of Thor, Black Widow and Iron Man. Available separately and also compatible with The Avengers Play Set are Hawkeye, The Hulk and Captain America.

The Hulk is a timed exclusive that will only be available at launch as part of Sony PlayStation bundles. There’s no definitive timetable for his full retail release, but based on Disney Infinity timed exclusives, I’d expect him to come out about a month after the game’s release on September 27.

Announced just ahead of E3 this past week were Meridia and Maleficent, the first two figures in the 2.0 “Disney Originals” labeled figures that will only work in the Toy Box. They are expected to be available for the game’s launch.

E3 revealed Ultimate Spider-Man as the second Disney Infinity 2.0 Play Set. It will come packaged with Spider-Man and Nova, and also be compatible with three other figures: Nick Fury, Iron Fist, and Venom. Note that Nick Fury will not work in The Avengers Play Set unless Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software are holding that cross-Play Set card up their sleeve.

Update: Online retailer Amazon.com has also begun accepting Disney Infinity 2.0 figure pre-orders.

Disney Infinity 2.0 Power Disc packaging from E3 revealed all five members of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film coming out August 1 are getting figures. They include Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon. A leaked and subsequently pulled listing at Walmart.com confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy will be the third Play Set and also should be available at launch.

In addition to revealing the packaging for the Spider-Man and Avengers single-pack figures (sans Hulk), the Walmart.com leak also reveals the next three figures in the Disney Originals line. They are Stitch, who was teased during the game’s announcement trailer; Tinker Bell, presumably based off her animated movie line; and Donald Duck.

With Marvel and Disney’s Big Hero 6 film coming out in November, it should come as no surprise that Hiro and Baymax from that film are getting figure treatments. Like Frozen released in November 2013, don’t expect a Play Set for these guys, but do expect a couple Power Discs to go along with them.

The odd Walmart.com listing was for Crystal Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, a figure rumored for release last fall that never made it out. The Crystal figures have been Toys R Us exclusives so why would a new one show up at Walmart? We don’t know yet.
