The first Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes Play Set sold separately from the Starter Pack has been unveiled at E3 2014 and it’s Ultimate Spider-Man. It joins the Avengers Play Set included with the Starter Pack.
The Ultimate Spider-Man Play Set comes packaged with two figures: Spider-Man and Nova. Three additional figures sold separately including Venom, Iron Fist and Nick Fury will also be compatible with the Spider-Man Play Set.
Unless Disney has a trick up its sleeve that we aren’t aware of, the current configuration of figures means that Nick Fury will only be playable in the Ultimate Spider-Man Play Set and will not work in the Avengers Play Set. Our fingers are crossed that is not the case.
