Warner Brothers Home Entertainment have announced an October 1st release date for director Joe Dante and writer Chris Columbus’ Gremlins on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital 4K.
This big catalog release for the 4K UHD format is in conjunction with the film’s 35th anniversary. You may have also noticed that Ghostbusters was released in 1984 and also received a 4K debut release for its similar 35th anniversary celebration.
Gremlins stars Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Hoyt Axton, and Randall Peltzer in front of the camera. Frank Welker voiced Stripe and Howie Mandel voiced Gizmo.
All of the Gremlins bonus features have been ported over from the previous Blu-ray release and can be found on the inclusive Blu-ray Disc. They are:
