Disney and Marvel Studios have announced a February 14th release date for Doctor Strange on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere, followed by an appearance on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on February 28th.
Director Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular superhero along with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Scott Adkins, Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. The latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has earned over $658 million at the global box office to date.
For its home video release, Disney and Marvel have earmarked a bonus features as exclusive to the digital versions of the film. Through the Keyhole: The Science of the MCU will explore how Marvel grounds all its films in real science, and explore the connection between science, magic and imagination.
