The passing of Master Chief brought the world to tears. What if he didn’t really die at the hands of the Covenant? Of course he didn’t or we wouldn’t have Halo 5: Guardians to play on Xbox One next month.
A new live-action Halo 5 commercial debuted during NBC’s Sunday Night Football earlier this evening that looks back at the moment Master Chief’s presumed passing was announced over the air. With his passing people in all walks of life felt their hope pulling away.
I for one cannot wait to dive into the Halo 5: Guardians campaign. With elements plucked from the Halo books, the hype is real that this campaign might be the best one yet. The franchise could certainly use that for the first full-blown new Halo game released on Xbox One.
