Marvel had added to the Avengers: Age of Ultron poster roster with the powerful twins that initially do bad but ultimately side with the good guys.
Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) is all business in the first poster, a young gal with the ability to warp reality and influence those whom she attacks. We see her messing with the mind of Black Widow in the latest Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, and she’s the likely culprit for sending Hulk on a rampage that only Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in the Hulkbuster armor can slow down.
Her brother, Pietro Maximoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), not to be confused with the character of the same name from Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, has the power to run really, really fast. He uses this power to clock Captain America (Chris Evans) upside the head, and will likely give several other Avengers a “run” for their money.
Each Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer has made it obvious that the twins begin the film siding with Ultron and Hydra, but by the final battle against Ultron and his drone army, they’re fighting with the Avengers. What we don’t know is the reason for their defection and personally I don’t want to know it until I’m watching it unfold in a movie theater.
Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron flies into theaters on May 1.
