The Walking Dead Season 4 Blu-ray and DVD has crept to within just a few days of its Tuesday, August 26 release. There’s much more than all 16 episodes from the fourth season to sink your teeth into on these discs, including a pair of The Walking Dead Season 4 deleted scenes.
Thanks to Anchor Bay Home Entertainment, you can watch the two big deleted scenes embedded below right now ahead of the Season 4 home video debut. The scenes were cut from episodes 414 and 416, two of the most eventful and impacting episodes in the entire season. Neither add anything to the narrative or characters that wasn’t already assumed.
In the episode 414 ‘The Grove’ scene, we catch up with Tyreese, Carol, Lizzie, Mika, and baby Grimes as they make their way down the train tracks toward, supposedly, Terminus. Tyreese spots something gruesome up ahead so he concocts a game to get Lizzie and Mika by with their eyes closed. It was a good idea, but Lizzie isn’t the greatest listener.
The episode 416 ‘A’ scene features Rick and Carl making their way down the same train tracks. Rick tells Carl he’s proud of him, that he’s a man, and he needs to be more careful than before. Michonne appears up above to tell the father and son what she found on her reconnaissance run.
