This has been a big week for Marvel and the production of Thor: The Dark World. They have been filming a massive battle in Bourne Woods, Surrey, and shutterbugs have snapped multiple images of Chris Hemsworth, Jaimie Alexander and other cast members in the thick of the fight.
Hitting the web today is a first video look at the fight that pits a small army of Asgardians against an unknown foe. It offers a small glimpse of what director Alan Taylor is aiming for with what will be Thor’s third big-screen appearance after debuting in Thor and teaming up with other superheroes in The Avengers. There’s some annoying inserted images as well, but stick through to the end to see all the interspersed video snippets full of swords clashing, explosions, and horses on the go.
There’s still a lot of production left on Thor: The Dark World so this likely isn’t the last sneak peek we’ll get.
Thor: The Dark World is still a ways off with a November 2013 release date.
