Blu-ray and good movie fans, we’re only 11 days away from the much-anticipated Blu-ray debut of Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures. It has been one of the most highly sought after Blu-ray compilations since the format first debuted six years ago and will end up on many a Blu-ray collection shelf.
Did you know that to support the Blu-ray debut of Indy’s film, Paramount is re-releasing Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark exclusively on IMAX screens beginning today? This marks the first appearance for Raiders on IMAX and from what I’ve heard, it looks and sounds absolutely amazing.
The Raiders IMAX run will last exactly one week and be available at 64 Regal Entertainment Group IMAX theaters across the nation. In addition, any kids under the age of 12 can see the film on IMAX for free when accompanied by an adult who purchases a $15 ticket.
I wouldn’t recommend Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark for toddlers, but the 10-12 age group can make out like a bandit and get their first exposure to one of the greatest adventure films of all time in the most impressive viewing and audio format available today.
