Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Approaching 500 Sold Out Showings

Fandango is reporting that early ticket sales for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 have lead to nearly 500 showings completely selling out. The second-to-last Potter theatrical installment is currently accounting for 61% of all Fandango ticket sales and many more showings will likely sell out ahead of its release.

Deathly Hallows ticket sales at Fandango are outpacing every previous Harry Potter installment setting up what should be an enormous opening weekend, even with out the added benefit of 3D ticket sales. The film was originally planned to be released in 3D but Warner pulled the plug after realizing quality would be compromised to rush and get it done in time.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 opens wide on November 19.
