A second Iron Man 2 one-sheet movie poster was revealed today by Paramount, this one featuring thorn in Tony Stark’s side Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) in what is likely the beginning of a series of Iron Man 2 character posters.
The poster offers the first clear look (Comic-Con footage doesn’t count) at Whiplash’s ignited whips which are sure to draw comparisons to Star Wars lightsabers. Speculation continues to swirl on whether this Whiplash piecemeal outfit, the only we have seen him in, is a precursor to something more refined that will revealed at a later time.
What’s just as exciting as the new poster is where it debuted: Apple Trailers. The first Iron Man 2 trailer is expected to bow in front of James Cameron’s Avatar which is now a little over a week away.
