Electronic Arts has announced Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 will be coming to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2 and PSP on August 26.
This time around, Tiger’s personal coach Hank Haney has joined in to provide tips and insight with every stroke of the club. Haney will also chime in at the end of each round to let a player know how they’ve performed en-route to the FedExCup.
EA’s GamerNet returns in 09 with several interface refinements and an all-new daily leaderboard and challenges customized to fit a a player’s identified style.
Simultaneous play has finally come to online where up to 4 players can play a hole at the same time. This was a popular feature in the old Xbox Links series and should be a hit for faster online rounds in Tiger Woods 09.
