Ice-T is joining the human cast of Gears of War 3 as announced today at E3 2010.
Rather than play a member of Delta Squad, Ice-T will be playing a human survivor named Griffin. He’s the leader of the Stranded, a ragtag group of survivors whom have banded together and cross paths with Marcus and Delta Squad during the course of the game.
“I’ve been a huge fan of Ice my whole life, and it turns out he’s a big fan of Gears,” said Epic Games Design Director, Cliff Bleszinski. “His legendary tough-as-nails, street-smart persona fits perfectly with Griffin.”
