Batman won’t be the only “freak” you get to control in the halls of Arkham when Batman: Arkham Asylum is unleashed to stores in June.
Eidos and Warner Interactive have announced that at some point after the game arrives in stores for PS3 and Xbox 360, owners of the PS3 version will be able to download a free playable version of The Joker via the Playstation Network.
Xbox 360 fans will not have access to this character in playable form, at least not right away. Rumors are swirling that The Joker will make his way to Xbox 360 after PS3’s exclusive window has shut.
More sought after information about playing as The Joker will appear in the June issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine. Information such as who are you fighting playing as The Joker if the game’s crux is to defeat The Joker playing as Batman? Is the entire campaign told from The Joker’s point of view which would in essence be like playing a completely different game? The answers are forthcoming.
