It’s only a little over two weeks until you can be Disney’s guest for the new live-action Beauty and the Beast movie from Disney and director Bill Condon.
The film’s star is unequivocally Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame and a new short featurette released by Disney explores how her character, Belle, is an empowered young woman without the overt bookworm persona seen in the animated version.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast also stars Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston; Kevin Kline as Maurice; Josh Gad as Lefou; Ewan McGregor as Lumiere; Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza; Ian McKellen as Cogsworth; and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts. You’ll spot several of these actors chiming in about Belle in the featurette presented below.
Look for Beauty in the Beast in theaters beginning March 17th where it is expected to open well north of $100 million during its first weekend of release.
