Ubisoft has announced a videogame based on the popular Fox reality show Hell’s Kitchen is in development at Ludia and will be released this September on Nintendo Wii, DS, PC and the Mac.
Foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay has lent his voice and likeness to capture the tone and feel of the show, complete with his signature yelling. “I had a great time doing the voice for my own animation,” said Ramsay. “Being in a video game is a new experience for me and I’m very pleased with the results.”
The game forces players to complete three phases of an order: preparation, cooking and service. Ramsay will score each meal, and progression will unlock Ramsay’s own person recipes including some he’s never shared publicly before.
Career mode will allow players to advance their own restaurant from one to five stars by progressing through recipes that build in complexity with each star.
Arcade mode puts players under Ramsay’s cranky side as he forces recipes to be completed in a time limit.
