SOCOM 4 E3 Trailer, B-Roll and Screenshots

Sony introduced SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs for PS3 at their E3 2010 keynote address earlier today confirming speculation the game would be in stores this fall (no exact release date is available at this time) and be compatible with Sony’s new Playstation Move motion-based controller.

Some of the new features SOCOM 4 will support include a contemporary narrative, weapon scope control via Playstation Move, 14 single-player missions spanning a six-day campaign in Southeast Asia, enemy AI that adjusts on the fly to squad tactics to ensure unique combat scenarios each play through, a new contextual command system and custom maneuvers, real-time access to air support including UAVs, new cover move withi destructible barriers, international forces depending on your region, and an Active Armory that lets you take parts from enemy weapons to build your own.

In the game you’ll command an international 5-person squad that includes First Lieutenant Park Yoon-Hee (call-sign “45”), a South Korean covert operations specialist; Chief Petty Officer Dion Wells; Heavy Weapons Operator Eric Schweitzer; and Chung Kwan, a South Korean reconnaissance operative. Together you’ll have to take down a military revolutionary looking to destroy the world’s “most vital waterway.”

Below we have the official SOCOM 4 E3 trailer, followed by E3 B-Roll footage, and lastly high resolution screenshots that are accessible via clicking the thumbnails.
