Atari has announced Smash Court Tennis 3 is well into development and targeted for an early August release exclusively on Xbox 360.
Smash Court Tennis 3 marks the first appearance of the series on a next-gen console. Why the game is not appearing on Playstation 3 as well remains a mystery for now, but safe speculation is additional PS3 dev time would have pushed back the release.
Smash Court Tennis 3 features a variety of courts, customizable players, and real life players like Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova. There may even be fantasy courts, as suggested by a giant tree appearing the screenshots.
Pricing is currently unknown at this time, but we’ll be sure to pass it along when available.
