A trio of new screenshots for id Software’s upcoming Rage game for Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC were passed along today that show the game is shaping more then just fine.
Rage publisher Bethesda Softworks also alerted us that the official Rage website has been revamped and relaunched (Rage.com). At this time we can’t access the site but it should come back online literally at any moment so keep trying.
Rage utilizes id Software’s id Tech 5 technology to create a first-person shooter fused with vehicle combat. Like 2K’s Borderlands, it’s set in a post-apocalytpic wasteland and will pit you against all sorts of mutants, gangs and other unsavory types.
Unfortunately Rage won’t be in stores for another 8 months or so. The official release date is September 13 in the US and September 16 in Europe.
