November 7 has arrived and with it the anticipated release of Gears of War 2 exclusively on Xbox 360.
Last night at more than 20,000 retailers worldwide, midnight madness events were held to celebrate the release and get the game in people’s hands as quickly and early as humanly possible.
Many of these retailers offered an exclusive Golden Hammerburst gun code to attendees of the midnight madness event. Supplies were limited and likely already exhausted at all participating retailers such as GameStop.
The other Golden weapon, a Golden Lancer, is much easier to obtain. A code to redeem for the gun is included in all Limited Edition Gears of War 2 packages.
