Sony has been content relying on a lone (and incredibly cool) arctic map to publicize Killzone 3 since announcing the game was in development at Guerilla Games. Earlier today a series of new screenshots surfaced that finally peel back another layer of secrecy from the upcoming big release.
Each of the 10 new screens are from an online multiplayer mode on an arid desert map in stark contrast to that arctic setting we’re become so accustomed to. They are likely from the multiplayer unveil at PAX.
What’s great about them are the presence of large mech vehicles that look like a second cousin of the robotic suit that wrecked havoc in District 9. They are also a variety of large weapons to take these mechs on with.
