WWE Network Expands and Adds Commitment-Free Price Plan

The English language edition of the WWE Network live online streaming service expanded globally today to more than 170 countries and territories with additional expansion plans already in place. With the expansion, WWE Network is offering an alternative price plan that eliminates the minimum six-month commitment potentially serving as a roadblock for some viewers seeking to test the service out.

Some of the big countries included in the WWE Network expansion are Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico and Spain. You can peruse the extensive complete list of countries now supporting the WWE Network on its official site.

The new price plan runs $12.99 a month and allows subscribers to cancel at any time, for any reason. Previously the WWE Network only offered a $9.99 a month subscription with a minimum six-month commitment. Introducing a new plan sans commitment tells us that WWE Network feels like they’re losing potential customers that want to take the service for a test drive before signing a longer-term deal.

WWE Network is also expanding its hardware penetration and will be adding support for live streaming on Sony Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Home Theater systems on August 13. Similar Samsung device support will be available by Friday of this week.
