Watch Resurrection Online Live Stream Episode 2 ‘Unearth’ on ABC

NBC’s Resurrection revived Sunday night ratings for the network last week with its series premiere. The big question is whether it can keep the vast majority of those viewers.

The premiere of Resurrection drew 13.3 million total viewers last Sunday night and the best midseason debut numbers for any network in the 18-49 demo at a 3.6 rating since Smash. It did so using the Once Upon a Time midseason premiere as a lead-in, and going up against The Walking Dead.

To recap the premiere, Resurrection takes place in Arcadia, Missouri where the dead from years ago suddenly reappear without having aged a single day. A young, Jacob, boy awakens in a field in China with no memory of how he got there. The question is how did he get there?

Immigration agent J. Martin Bellamy takes the boy to his parents that thought the boy had died over 30 years earlier. Much of the episode focuses on Jacob’s immediate family and his best friend, now an adult pastor, question how it is possible that he is not only alive, but hasn’t aged.

The big kicker comes when it is revealed that when Jacob and his aunt perished at the river over 30 years ago, a third man was with them – and that man had been sleeping with the aunt. It sounds like fodder for daytime drama, but clearly there’s something larger at play.

Resurrection Season 1, Episode 2 ‘Unearth’ premieres tonight at 9/8c following an encore performance of the series premiere on ABC. Check local listings in your town to find the ABC channel number to watch Resurrection HD tonight on TV.
