About Michael Jordan: The Last Dance

Wow, The Last Dance didn’t hold back. We learned a lot about Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls during the first two hours of this incredible documentary.

The big takeaways are that Jordan views Scottie Pippen as his most important teammate and an integral reason for his success. Pippen on any other team would have been the star, but he always played second fiddle to Jordan.

General Manager Jerry Krause effectively dismantled the Bulls dynasty before the 1997 season began. He told coach Phil Jackson that it would be his last season, and that helped fuel the fire that led to the Bulls’ sixth championship in 8 years.

Essentially Krause was the villain of the first two episodes.
