About Michael Jordan: The Last Dance

It was during the fall of 1997 that Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf, and head coach Phil Jackson gave the OK for an NBA Entertainment film crew to tag along with the team for the entire 97-98 season.

Footage from those extensive recordings have remained under wraps until now. The Last Dance will not only look at the 1990’s Bulls and the rise of Michael Jordan from a child into an icon, but also emphasize all of the highs and lows of the 97-98 season that ended with a championship.

ESPN considers Michael Jordan: The Last Dance from director Jason Hehir to be one of the most fascinating documentaries ever produced. We’ll all find out soon enough where it ranks.
