Guillermo del Toro’s Tales of Arcadia finale won’t be sliding into your Netflix account before the first quarter of 2021 wraps up, as previously was announced.
In a late Sunday afternoon tweet, del Toro announced the final chapter of Tales of Arcadia dubbed Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans has been delayed and now bears a new summer 2021 release date time frame. Expect an exact release date to be unveiled in the coming months.
Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans reunites Trollhunters Emmy Award-winning scribes Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman aka The Hageman Brothers with Marc Guggenheim to wrap up the franchise they helped begin under del Toro’s creative direction.
The finale will be presented in movie format rather than episodic so expect a run-time somewhere in the 90-minute range.
Expect virtually the entire Tales of Arcadia cast from Trollhunters, 3Below and Wizards to return including confirmed voice actors Emile Hirsch as Jim, Lexi Medrano as Claire, Charlie Saxton as Toby, Kelsey Grammer as Blinky, Alfred Molina as Archie, Steven Yeun as Steve, Nick Frost as Stuart, Colin O’Donoghue as Douxie, Diego Luna as Krel, Tatiana Maslany as Aja and Nick Offerman as Vex, as well as Cole Sand, Fred Tatasciore, Brian Blessed, Kay Bess, Piotr Michael, James Hong, Tom Kenny, Angel Lin, Amy Landecker, Jonathan Hyde, Bebe Wood, Laraine Newman, Grey Griffin and Cheryl Hines.
