The ThreeZero Game of Thrones one-sixth scale premium action figure line will be adding its second character and first from House Stark. It was already known this officially licensed figure was in the works for many months due to behind-the-scenes images, but now the ThreeZero Game of Thrones Ned Stark figure based on the likeness of Sean Bean from the hit HBO series is officially a go.
ThreeZero has revealed the first image of the Game of Thrones Ned Stark figure prototype that shows the former head of House Stark in his most iconic look. Starting from the head down, the sculpt does a respectable job of capturing Bean’s likeness in the role, but the paint job could use some work — especially around the eyes. The head is still being worked on so the final figure should theoretically be improved.
From the looks of the image, Ned comes with his animal overcoat, a dagger, and his infamous Ice sword made from Valyrian steel. At least one more extra accessory is likely to be revealed as ThreeZero likes to offer an exclusive item for those who pre-order figures directly from them.
Ned Stark joins Tyrion Lannister as the second figure in ThreeZero’s Game of Thrones figure line. Tyrion has already come and gone from pre-order availability directly from ThreeZero, but he will be available to purchase at numerous online outlets in the fourth quarter of this year.
There’s still no indication of when the ThreeZero Game of Thrones Ned Stark figure will be available for pre-order or how much he will cost. For now he’s simply “coming soon.” Other ThreeZero Game of Thrones figures rumored to be in the works include Jon Snow and his direwolf Snow, and Daenerys Targaryen with her baby dragons.
