Lifetime’s synopsis for Malicious Motives reads:
“Ashley is a popular high school student in need of a liver transplant. Her social outcast classmate, Katie, is her only donor match but is unable to get her sister and legal guardian, Sasha’s, permission for the surgery. Desperate to help Ashley in hopes of accessing her perfect life, Katie forges Sasha’s signature.
But when Sasha finds out, and threatens to reveal the operation as illegal, Katie kills her and frames it as a drug overdose. Suspicious of Katie’s increasingly strange behavior, Ashley begins to question Katie’s motives.“
The Malicious Motives TV movie is written by Daniel West and directed by Mike Hoy. The cast features Revell Carpenter, Juliana Destefano, Carrie Schroeder, and Briana Femia.
