BET Awards Preview
This year’s BET Awards are hosted by Taraji P. Nelson at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. This is a return to the norm following last year’s rushed event that was entirely virtual due to the pandemic.
Booked performers expected to appear include (in alphabetical order) Andra Day, City Girls, Da Baby, DJ Khaled, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Kirk Franklin, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Migos, Moneybagg Yo!, Rapsody, Roddy Ricch and Tone Stith.
A new touch added to the 2021 BET Awards is the theme “Year of the Black Woman” that will celebrate the accomplishments of black women in various fields of entertainment.
