When we last saw Stephen Amell on Arrow he had hung up the hood and sped off as Oliver Queen with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) to live a “normal” life. There’s no show without the former Starling City vigilante cleaning up crime so you know he’ll be back and likely well-rested for the next round of bad guy cleansing.
Production on Arrow Season 4 only recently began within the past week, and just before that Warner Bros. Television released the first Stephen Amell Arrow Season 4 image during San Diego Comic-Con depicting the superhero in an all-new more sophisticated getup that takes him one step closer toward becoming Green Arrow.
Is that the beginnings of a goatee on Stephen Amell’s face? He’s always had the little bit of scruff on the show but this new look might begin to define the signature Green Arrow goatee.
The new Arrow Season 4 suit was designed by Maya Mani, the same designer behind Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), Speedy (Willa Holland) and Ray Palmer’s A.T.O.M. (Brandon Routh). Diggle (David Ramsey) is also finally getting a new uniform of some sort this season and odds are favorable that Mani is behind that as well.
The Arrow Season 4 premiere date is Wednesday, October 7 at 8/7c on The CW.
