A second Ninjago Season 14 trailer has arrived with a mix of footage found in the first trailer and some all-new looks at The Island.
You’ll notice that LEGO is calling this Ninjago Season 3 and technically they’re correct depending on your point of view. The series underwent a soft reboot when Season 10 concluded as the Hageman Brothers moved on, the animation studio changed from Wil Film to WildBrain, and the episode run-time was halved. Ninjago: Masters of Spinjizu became simply Ninjago, but the overall narrative and characters continued forward without interruption.
Most Ninjago fans call The Island Season 14. LEGO considers Season 11 – the Fire and Ice Chapters to be the new Season 1, and a combination of Prime Empire and Master of the Mountain to be Season 2. Both are correct.
For continuity’s sake the fans tend to stick with Season 11, 12, 13, 14 and so on, and so will we.
