Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 Web Series Premieres This Weekend

Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462

AMC has set a premiere date for Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462, a 16-part webseries that will debut this Sunday on AMC.com around the same time that the Fear The Walking Dead Season 1 finale premieres.

Each subsequent installment of Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 will premiere each week during a commercial break of The Walking Dead: Season 6 before shuffling over to AMC.com. At somewhere less than a minute in length per episode, it will take multiple months before we get to see all 30 minutes of the webseries.

If you do the math there’s no way that Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 has enough minutes to play out during the commercial breaks. Less than a minute per episode means that one episode per each The Walking Dead episode will only equate to half the 30 minute allotment. I expect the first installment this Sunday on AMC.com to comprise a decent chunk of the webseries, especially since it will require two commercial breaks during The Walking Dead: Season 6 where it makes its on air premiere.

AMC’s hook for Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 is that one of the survivors of this presumably doomed flight where an infected passenger is discovered will survive and join the cast of Fear The Walking Dead in Season 2. Nick spied an airplane in distress during the third episode of Fear The Walking Dead and already the popular presumption is that plane was Flight 462.

Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 is written by L. Signorino and Mike Zunic, and directed by Fear The Walking Dead director of photography Michael McDonough. Fear The Walking Dead producers Dave Erickson and David Wiener are behind the webseries.
