Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is exceptionally ladylike in a series of new EW Game of Thrones Season 5 images comprising a mix of publicity stills and cover shots.
Entertainment Weekly is running a huge Game of Thrones cover story this week and all the complimentary images that go along with it are previously unseen outside of the production. We get to see Arya’s new look that’s a dramatic departure for a character that spent two-plus seasons pretending to be a boy. The three new Sand Snakes characters each get an image. And there’s no bigger stars in Game of Thrones than Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Rob Snow (Kit Harrington), each of which scored their own EW variant covers alongside Williams.
EW’s cover story reveals some neat tidbits and minor Game of Thrones Season 5 spoilers in its web coverage. For example, Season 5 will include three weddings somewhere inside of only 10 episodes. Storylines will deliberately deviate from the books and surely court controversy as a result. And most shocking is that at least one character still alive in the books will meet an untimely demise on the small screen.
Enjoy the new Game of Thrones Season 5 images from EW below, pick up the new issues on newsstands, and get ready to enter the one month countdown to the Season 5 premiere April 12 exclusively on HBO, HBO Go or HBO NOW.
