An appropriately badass first trailer for Netflix’s Cobra Kai Season 3 has dropped roughly a month ahead of its premiere.
The next installment for the Karate Kid sequel series teases an alliance between Ralph Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso and William Zabka’s Johnny Lawrence as they take on Cobra Kai’s original founder, Kreese. Hilarity will ensue as these polar opposites mend broken bridges for a common cause.
But that’s not all. In addition to Johnny continuing to deliver laughs with his uninformed dry humor, Ralph looks to be making a trip to Okinawa, Japan where some familiar faces from The Karate Kid II might popup.
The official Cobra Kai Season 3 synopsis from Netflix reads, “finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.”
Look for all of Cobra Kai Season 3 to drop on Netflix when the calendar reads January 8th, 2021.
