Two seasons worth of Titans has produced two Robin characters so it only makes sense that a third Robin join the fray for the Gotham City-set Season 3.
Relatively unknown actor Jay Lycurgo has joined the Titans Season 3 cast and will portray Tim Drake, a kid from the streets with an incredible knack for detail and drive to be as heroic as he can be. Tim will be a recurring character to start rather than a season regular.
Drake as the third Robin joins the first Robin, Dick Grayson, who completed his arc in becoming Nightwing in the Titans Season 2 finale. The second Robin, Jason Todd, will follow his comic book trajectory and assume the role of Red Hood in Season 3.
The first two seasons of Titans were available on the DC Universe streaming service. That has been been shuttered and both seasons moved to HBO Max, the new home for DC Entertainment shows and movies.
Titans Season 3 will premiere exclusively on HBO Max presumably later this year barring any unforeseen delays.
