The Siege of Mandalore has arrived. Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 begins its final four-episode arc on Disney+ with Ahsoka being recruited by the Mandalorians to take on a common foe: Darth Maul. The next episode titled Old Friends Not Forgotten promises to deliver what fans have been waiting years to witness.

The official premiere date and time for The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 9 is Friday, April 17th, 2020 at approximately midnight ET. It will be available to stream via the Disney Plus app on Internet connected devices, or directly via the Disney Plus website.

The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 9 Preview

It was Darth Maul all along. Ahsoka discovered in last week’s Episode 8 that Darth Maul is controlling the Pyke Syndicate and is currently located on Mandalore.

After returning to Coruscant, Ahsoka is confronted by Bo Katan and asked to team up against Maul — a common foe. She’ll obviously agree after the events of the past four episodes leading her to this point.

We know that Ahsoka will seek out Anakin’s help and be reunited with her Clone battalion. We know Obi-Wan will return and find himself in the thick of battle again. And we know Maul and Ahsoka will square off with both destined to survive.

The official Old Friends Not Forgotten synopsis from Disney and Lucasfilm reads, “Ahsoka Tano reaches out to Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi seeking assistance to secure the capture of longtime adversary and former Sith Lord Maul, but the news of Grievous’ attack on Coruscant and Palpatine’s capture forces a difficult decision for the Jedi”.
