Star Wars: The Clone Wars returns exclusively to Disney Plus for a seventh and final season after being abruptly cancelled when Disney bought Lucasfilm and subsequently resurrected several years later.
The premiere date and time for Season 7 Episode 1 titled The Bad Batch is Friday, February 21st. You can watch it on the Disney Plus website or app starting around midnight. Find out how to watch The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 1 online for free if you don’t have a Disney Plus subscription yet.
Disney+ Free Trial
For an unknown period of time, Disney is offering a 7-day free trial of Disney+ that will allow you to jump in and watch as much of The Clone Wars and other shows/movies on the platform that you can cram into those seven days. Every episode of The Clone Wars dating back to the original theatrical film is available on Disney+.
Once the trial is complete you can decide whether to pay $6.99 a month to continue with Disney+ or cancel and pay nothing. Given the inexpensive price and great content, plus future The Clone Wars episodes leading to the series finale and other Disney Originals to come, most folks will opt to signup.
Disney is also offering an option for $69.99 a year that drops the price down to $5.84 a month, over a dollar a month less than going month-to-month.

There is also a $12.99 a month bundle option that includes Disney+, ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu. This deal is fantastic and many folks have already jumped in with both feet and endless hours of streaming options.
If you already have a Hulu account then you will receive a bill credit for each month that you’re subscribed to the bundle deal.
Look for the Disney+ app to show up on a variety of devices including Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles; LG, Samsung and Sony TVs, and Amazon Fire boxes and Fire Sticks.
You’ll need to install the latest update to have the Disney+ app appear after registering your free trial and account.

The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 1 Preview
The war rages on. Separatists and the Republic continue to battle with the Jedi and innocent civilians caught in the middle.
When The Clone Wars triumphantly returns, we’ll meet a small team of genetically altered clones who are tasked with taking on the tough missions. This Bad Batch, as they’re referred, is expected to leave quite the mark when teaming up with Captain Rex and Anakin on a covert operation.
The official log line for The Clone Wars Season 7 premiere episode reads, “It’s the end of the historic Clone Wars, as the forces of darkness have amassed great power in their bid to transform the Republic into the Galactic Empire. With the Republic on a losing streak, Captain Rex fears the Separatists are using stolen data to help predict the Grand Army’s every move. As the threat of defeat looms, Rex teams up with experimental Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch. Together, they embark on a high-risk mission behind enemy lines to uncover the truth behind the Separatist victories in The Bad Batch.”
Star Wars: The Clone Wars begins where it ends — under the direction of Dave Filoni. If you’ve seen The Mandalorian then you’ve already seen Filoni’s work as he directed two episodes and served as an Executive Producer.
