‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Adds ‘The Terminator’ and ‘Aliens’ Actor

The first season of The Mandalorian is rife with recognizable guest stars. Season 2 appears headed in the same direction based on a flurry of recent rumors.

James Cameron favorite Michael Biehn has reportedly been cast as a bounty hunter with ties to Mando’s past. This follows recent news that Rosario Dawson will be portraying the fist live-action version of former Jedi Ahsoka Tano in Season 2.

Biehn is best known for his role as Kyle Reese in the original The Terminator. His other most notable roles include Corporal Hicks in Aliens, Lieutenant Coffey in The Abyss, and Johnny Ringo in Tombstone.

There are all kinds of directions Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau can go with a new bounty hunter in The Mandalorian universe. He could portray another Mandalorian from the Death Watch that raised the title character. He could even play Dengar, the beat up old warrior who first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and made a brief background cameo appearance in The Rise of Skywalker.

The source for the Michael Biehn casting is none other than MakingStarWars.net, the same site that has broken numerous Star Wars casting bits including Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian.

Even though rumors must be treated as such, that website doesn’t run stories unless they’ve properly cross-checked their information with multiple sources.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will air exclusively on Disney Plus beginning in October 2020.
