LEGO Ninjago City: A Stunning ‘The LEGO Ninjago Movie’ Flagship Set

LEGO has finally unveiled their direct-to-consumer set from this fall’s The LEGO Ninjago Movie and it’s a whopper in every sense of the word.

Clocking in at an impressive 4,867 pieces, Ninjago City is officially the third largest set LEGO has produced behind the Taj Mahal and UCS Millennium Falcon. It includes 16 mini-figures, a brick-built janitor robot, and two additional outfits as part of a clothing shop on the second of three total levels.

Built on a single base plate, Ninjago City is designed to rise above and even connect with LEGO’s popular AFOL modular building line. It draws inspiration from the movie, the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu television series, and even fan-built LEGO cyberpunk structures.

Ninjago and LEGO fans will find numerous shout-outs and Easter Eggs buried within the set. There’s a little something for everyone whether you’re a fan of Ninjago or not.

Ninjago City will set you back $299.99. The official release date is September 1st, though VIP members might and likely will be able to purchase it on August 15th.
