The first Hasbro Pulse live stream event of 2021 focused on the Star Wars brand and, more specifically, the first announced product to support this year’s Lucasfilm 50th anniversary celebration.
Stealing some thunder from a trio of 50th anniversary figures headed to Walmart this spring are a pair of animation-inspired figures fans have been clamoring for since their Disney+ unveiling a year ago.
Joining The Vintage Collection (TVC) this summer are Season 7 interpretations of Darth Maul and Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars.
Each is highly articulated with rocker ankles and are already pre-sold out at Amazon. Thankfully there are other pre-order options available.

The 50th anniversary TVC figures are Princess Leia (Endor), AT-ST Driver, and Paploo, available this spring exclusively at Walmart. Leia sports a new head sculpt of Carrie Fisher’s likeness and new camo paint on her poncho. Paploo has new weapons and a cowl, and the AT-ST Driver benefits from Hasbro’s Photo Real face printing technology.
Hasbro is crossing off more figures off the original 96 list. AT-ST Driver and Paploo are fine, but this Leia (originally from 2007 & now with new head) is a disappointment. She is not definitive, & given Black Series just got a perfect one, makes it even more disappointing. pic.twitter.com/vo9cJYmhTM

These figures are part of the original 96 Kenner figures from 1978-85 being re-imagined in The Vintage Collection, an initiative Hasbro has fully committed to. Each TVC card has the Lucasfilm 50th anniversary badge on the front.
Expect more Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Star Wars figures to join The Vintage Collection later this year.
