Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced xXx: State of the Union, the sequel to Vin Diesel’s original xXx, is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 12.
xXx: State of the Union will be presented in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and likely, though not confirmed, 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
The special edition DVD version came loaded with extra features but at this time, nothing has been announced for the Blu-ray version. We’ll update the disc specs if/when new information materializes.
xXx: State of the Union on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $28.96. High resolution cover art, and hopefully additional specs, should be coming shortly.
