The annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) is an opportunity for the gaming kings to begin building momentum headed into E3. Microsoft kicks off the announcements today by stating the addition of a third manufacturing partner now producing Xbox 360 consoles means starting this week, Microsoft will distribute two to three times more consoles to retailers weekly. Those of you holding out on taking the plunge until you can stroll into a store and take your pick of boxes shouldn’t have that much longer to wait.
Microsoft also announced a couple first party titles will be receiving additional content via Xbox Live. Project Gotham Racing 3 is scheduled to receive new cars and Achievements, while Perfect Dark Zero should see some new multi-player maps. In addition, sometime later this Spring a Horse Armor Pack will be available for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
