X-Men: First Class Blu-ray Pre-Order is Live

Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class prequel film on Blu-ray starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jason Flemyng, Nicholas Hoult, January Jones and Zoe Kravitz. There’s no release date yet, but I’m expecting the disc to hit stores sometime in late September or October.

X-Men: First Class traveled back in time to the 1960s when Magneto and Professor X were still best friends and humanity was not aware that mutants were walking amongst them. Though X-Men: First Class played softer theatrically than its predecessors in North American when it was released back in June, it did manage to snuff out over $343 million at the worldwide box office.

If Fox does not formally announce X-Men: First Class on Blu-ray and DVD at Comic-Con next week, it might not be until mid-August when we’ll learn of the release date and bonus features. All the Amazon listing tells us is the $39.99 SRP and the inclusion of a digital copy. I’ll pass along any X-Men: First Class updates as they’re found.
