Winter’s Bone is heading from a Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival into your home on October 26, a day already stacked with Universal’s Back to the Future Trilogy and Fox’s Alien Anthology Blu-ray sets.
The 95% fresh at Rotten Tomatoes flick Winter’s Bone stars Jennifer Lawrence, a young actress whose performance in the film helped her land the role of Mystique in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming X-Men: First Class prequel film. John Hawkes co-stars in the story about a teenage girl who traverses Missouri to track down her runaway father.
Lionsgate is bringing Winter’s Bone to Blu-ray with deleted scenes, an audio commentary, a “making-of” featurette, a location featurette, visual scouting notes plus a music video. Tech specs are not available at this time.
