It took a little over half a week for Marvel’s Thor movie trailer that debuted during Comic-Con to leak online and now that it has, I must say I am impressed in an ‘Incredible Hulk’ sort of way. It’s both epic in scope and completely over the top, right in line with what you’d expect about a film dealing with otherworldly gods.
Asgard looks fantastically majestic and the prevalent use of Agent Coulson keeps the film attached to Iron Man and the Avengers. The Destroyer looks great as well, though as my wife pointed out to me, what is a robot doing in a movie with gods? It’ll be interesting to see how that’s sold to Thor newcomers in the finished film.
