The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer is out and ready to be watched below!
A good portion of the huge crowed crammed into Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center today are there for Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer debut and panel. Just because they get to see it first doesn’t mean the rest of us don’t get a shot at the goods as well.
Yahoo! Movies has confirmed that they will be releasing The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer online shortly after the panel concludes, or around 5/4c today. I will update this article with the embedded trailer right after it goes online.
Earlier this week, Lionsgate released a series of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire character posters featuring participants of the 75th Annual Hunger Games Quarter Quell from each District. They include Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), as well as Beetee, Mags, Wiress, Brutus, Enobaria, Finnick, Gloss, Johanna and Cashmere.
The thought is that by releasing these posters just before the trailer reveal, Lionsgate intends to debut footage from the Games’ portion of the film. Previously trailers and sneak peeks have revolved almost squarely around already established characters from the first film.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire makes its way into cinemas on November 22.
