Disney has released a video containing the entire opening title sequence for Sam Raimi’s Oz The Great and Powerful which you can watch below.
The opening titles run just over two minutes and are in black-and-white. They are animated in a way that is both magical and whimsical, a testament to the man who the film is ultimately about. Designed designed the titles for 3D, but they still look fantastic in 2D on a computer monitor.
Oz The Great and Powerful stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff. It is currently playing in theaters everywhere and will be making its Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD debut this summer. Pre-order links for the Blu-ray versions will be shared as soon as they are available.
