Vin Diesel is back sharing goodies on Facebook, this time new concept art from Riddick 3 that builds off of the events of The Chronicles of Riddick.
The concept art shows Vin Diesel as Riddick wearing a version of Necro-armor. If you recall, Riddick became ruler of the Necromongers in The Chronicles of Riddick after slaying the former king. “You keep what you kill.”
This armored look is definitely new for Riddick who, up until now, has run around in tank tops. The armor is cleverly designed so you can still see Vin’s massive arms, of course.
A closer look at the artwork shows it is called “Riddick’s Kick-Ass Armor, Version B.” It certainly lives up to the name and should look fantastic if fully realized as drawn.
Vin goes on to say principal photography kicks off in a few weeks. He also reminds everyone that Riddick 3 is R-rated like the first film in the series Pitch Black was. Apparently because it’s “R” there is much to do.
