Vin Diesel is back to his old tricks on Facebook, using the social network platform to offer the only behind-the-scenes look from the new Chronicles of Riddick film currently in production.
This new images is similar to the last one in that it features Diesel in full Riddick garb and not much else. Here, Diesel calls Riddick an “Alpha Furyan” and says that the character “must return to his primitive state,” even though “being king has its perks.” The dual-bladed knife Riddick is grasping seems to suggest just that.
Riddick 3 is in production with an as-of-yet determined release date. The third film in the series will return to the R-rated roots planted by the first film, Pitch Black.
