Lionsgate Home Entertainment has revealed full disc specs and pricing for the upcoming small army of Rambo Blu-ray titles set to invade stores on May 27.
First up is the fourth and most recent film in the series, Rambo. Lionsgate will be giving his new theatrical release a purple star treatment spread across two discs with 1080p video and 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio.
In addition to the previously announced standard-definition digital copy of the feature film for iTunes and Windows Media, Rambo will include a feature-length audio commentary with Sylvester Stallone, deleted scenes, and six featurettes that all appear on the DVD version. Exclusive to Blu-ray are a gallery of trailers from all previous Rambo films, Molog, and an all-new unique audio commentary with Stallone that utilizes Bonus View Picture-in-Picture.
Rambo First Blood Part II and Rambo III will also be presented in widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio. Supplemental features will include audio commentaries, documentaries and featurettes ported from the previous DVD releases, as well as all-new “Out of the Blu” Trivia Tracks.
Finally, the Rambo Trilogy box-set will contain each of the first three Rambo films, including the original unaltered release of First Blood. The two sequels will be identical to the standalone releases.
